Summary: The Central Scheduler is responsible for oversight of scheduling processes using Virtual Roster software for all gaming related functions, including Table Games, Slots, Sportsbook, and Poker.
The position ensures appropriate staffing levels to meet business demands, recognizing and planning for peak periods during special events.
The Central Scheduler works closely with department leadership to adjust schedules through create efficient processes, utilizing scheduling software to ensure the most appropriate use of resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Responsible for schedule planning and optimization, communication and coordination with operations, data analysis and reporting and system management.
* Manage and maintain the Virtual Roster scheduling system with an in-depth understanding of the product, actively identifying opportunities to enhance solutions and results.
* Manage operational and infrastructure questions and issues with scheduling inputs such as skills/certifications/licenses, Business Structure changes, schedule rules, schedule templates and shifts, call lists, etc.
* Ensure standard configurations are developed and maintained within each operational area.
* Ensure timely schedule creation and delivery based on the standards and expectations of the business unit and department leadership.
* Monitor metrics and KPI's.
Provides reports related to scheduling performance to identify trends and efficiency.
* Develop clear, concise, and well-organized technical documentation to uphold standards and procedures for end users.
* Provide technical training to end users to ensure standards are understood and adhered to within each operational area.
* Work closely with HR, IT, and Operations to identify new opportunities and facilitate the rollout of new functionalities.
* Configure and maintain the volume and labor forecasting, continuously refining the process for optimization and alignment with business needs.
* Configure and maintain the budgeting module ensuring alignment with business requirements.
* Manage the queue of support tickets related to the scheduling software system.
* All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): * Must be 18 years of age or older.
* Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, management information systems or related field is required.
* Minimum of two (2) years related career experience, including integration of scheduling to payroll systems.
* Extensive hands on experience with UKG Workforce Central and Virtual Roster is strongly preferred.
* Must be able to work varied shifts and weekends as needed.
* Must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of statistical analysis.
* Demonstrate experience managing a centralized scheduling team using a platform such as Virtual Roster.
* Ability to lead and participate in group meetings.
* Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office products * Ability to plan, execute, and manage projects with goals and deadlines.
* Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
