About Armaments Research Company
Armaments Research Company (ARC) is a technology company dedicated to bringing real-time situational awareness and battlefield logistics capabilities to the warfighter. You will be an integral part of the ARC team managing program execution in support of our innovative and powerful IoT devices to enhance national security.
Our core offering is the ARC AI-Enabled Weapons Sensor (AEWS), which collects and transmits real-time tactical data to the cloud. This information enables battlefield/tactical awareness and aggregated insights into big data sets that do not exist today. ARC technologies were initially developed in partnership with DARPA and the National Science Foundation and leverage internet-of-things (IoT) technology and machine learning to derive actionable insights and transform operational responses. This novel technology will be deployed at scale to enhance safety, decision-making, and sustainment for the warfighter at the tactical edge. What You'll Do
ARC's SkillBridge program allows transitioning service members to gain civilian work experience through a fellowship in their last 180 days of service. The fellowship typically spans 3-4 months and offers a unique experience with flexible start dates. SkillBridge fellows undergo both a midpoint and final evaluation to gauge their performance and potential for a future offer.
We are looking for a Program Manager to join our team in Ashburn, VA. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the completion of multiple projects within budget and on time, ensuring they meet defined requirements and standards. You will manage resources and communicate effectively with stakeholders to achieve project objectives. If you are someone who is a highly motivated team player who is willing to support a fast paced team environment and detail oriented self starter with minimal oversight, then this role is for you.Role Responsibilities - How You Will Make an Impact
Project Planning: Defining project scope, goals, timelines, and resource
Resource Management: Allocating and managing human and material resources effectively
Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks to project success
Budget Management: Creating and managing project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring projects stay within financial constraints
Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicating project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders
Project Execution: Implementing project plans, monitoring progress, and making adjustments as needed
Problem Solving: Proactively identifying and resolving project issues and obstacles
Adaptability: Adjusting schedules, budgets, and project plans as needed to accommodate changes and unforeseen circumstancesRelevant Skills and Experience
Service member must be within 180 days of separating from Service
Ability to maintain a DoD Security Clearance
Enjoys collaborating with internal stakeholders and briefing external customers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with maintaining and operating firearms
This position will require access to restricted information and facilities protected under U.S. laws and regulations, including the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
