Description:

Arlington Heights School District 25 has an opening for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Special Education Instructional Teacher at Windsor Elementary School for the 2025-26 school year.

Qualifications:

Must have experience with students with a variety of disabilities, including students with behavior disorders and other learning and cognitive delays

Must possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a LBS1 Endorsement for K-12

Preferred candidates will speak a second language

Preferred candidates will be willing to work with students outside of the normal school day by participating in activities, athletics, or other school related endeavors

Salary:

This position is part of the Arlington Teachers' Association (ATA) professional agreement. The salary is dependent upon full-time years of experience and education level. It ranges from BA (+0 graduate hours) and no full-time years of experience ($51,984.00) to MA (+32 graduate hours beyond the MA degree) and 7 years of full-time teaching experience ($65,928.00).
