JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of the Inventory Control Clerk III will be to manage the daily execution of inventory movement and system transactions for our main stockroom, cleanroom parts and materials, and occasionally the FGI stockroom. Additionally, responsibilities include item setup and BOM maintenance for ECNs in SAGE for NPI and FG.
The position also works with Sales Ops to identify and level load shipments based on customer CRDs. The position also runs daily shortage and credit hold reports and helps investigate material discrepancies, report the findings to management, and make necessary improvement recommendations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute processes to properly label, place, pick, and store all inventory
Manages daily requests for inventory fulfillment.
Processes Finished good part number item setups in SAGE.
Processes and maintains BOMs and blanket ECNs in SAGE.
Maintains Material disposition and reorder points in SAGE.
Lead the team on the annual physical Inventory audit, registers variances and investigates any discrepancies.
Report and analyze inventory stock, aging, and propose disposition plan to management
Uses good judgment to identify required production/process flow for material.
Maintain and update inventory records in the ERP system, MES, Docuware, and Access
Creates/kits/processes work tickets as necessary and ensures proper documentation is prepared for internal inventory processing.
Completes necessary transactions for all material movement to ensure material is accounted for properly
Updates Sales Ops on a 3-week look ahead to level load shipment weeks to support customer CRDs.
Runs daily customer “Credit limit exceeding” reports and works with Finance to clear holds before the material reaches Shipping.
Lead in inventory cycle counts and daily audits; researches and resolves inventory discrepancies
Provide backup for the Main stockroom, NPI engineering staff, and prototype assembly team material requests.
Prepares depleted inventory list for procurement and management review.
Reports on all stock issues to management
Documents workflow processes
Mentor and train others on all processes and procedures
Cross-trained to cover multiple Logistics roles, including Shipping and Receiving
Special projects as required
REQUIREMENTS
4- 7 years of experience in an inventory/Logistics role, IC industry preferred
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant college courses or degree preferred
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Solid Excel skills and a high level of SAGE experience required.
Configuration MGMT – Some experience with Item setups, BOM setups, and maintenance with a strong understanding of the importance of accurate and timely data input.
Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, professional environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to use analytics to make logical decisions
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Hands-on experience with inventory control software systems; ERP experience is required
Self-motivated, productive, enthusiastic, and result oriented.
