Position: Bakery Team Member
Work Schedule: Varied, flexible, evenings and weekends required; availability around holidays.
Summary of Role: Bakery Team members follow recipes to prepare baked goods as assigned by the Pastry Chef. The Bakery Team interacts with guests by selling product through the retail counter and via telephone. They are expected to maintain cleanliness, follow food and kitchen safety practices, and professionally communicate with guests and coworkers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent guest service to guests at the walk-up counter and over the phone
• Follow recipes and direction to accurately and consistently prepare baked goods
• Follow food safety and cleanliness procedures at all times
• Communicate professionally & efficiently with coworkers & guests
• Perform all side duties and cleaning duties as assigned
• Perform additional tasks related to bakery operations as assigned by managers
Physical Demands:
• Ability to be on your feet up to 8 hours
• Ability to walk up and down stairs
• Ability to reach & lift above the head as needed
• Ability to lift, carry and move items up to 60 lbs
• Ability to squat, bend, and twist your body as needed
• Ability to function in a work environment that is hot, loud, in tight spaces with colleagues, contains wet and slippery surfaces
• Ability to work near and interact with extremely hot cooking surfaces and equipment including but not limited to the ovens and toasters
