Our providers are here to answer the call! We provide critical, advanced, or basic life support for hospital patients during medical transport. We also can be contracted for events or organizations needing stand-by onsite EMS medical response or supervision.
About the Role:
As an EMT-B (Emergency Medical Technician-Basic), you will play a crucial role in providing emergency medical care to patients in various situations, including accidents, medical emergencies, and natural disasters. Your primary responsibility will be to assess patients' conditions, provide immediate care, and transport them safely to medical facilities. You will work closely with other emergency responders, ensuring effective communication and teamwork to deliver the best possible outcomes for patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as the ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact the health and well-being of individuals in your community during critical moments.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current EMT-B certification from a recognized training program.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a pre-hospital emergency medical setting.
Additional certifications such as CPR, First Aid, or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess the situation to determine the necessary medical care.
Provide basic life support, including CPR, wound care, and the administration of oxygen.
Transport patients safely to medical facilities while monitoring their vital signs and providing ongoing care.
Document patient information and care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other emergency personnel and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Skills:

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills will be utilized daily to assess patient conditions and determine the best course of action in emergencies.
