SMS Staffing Inc is Hiring Immediately for skilled Medical Device Assemblers!

Job Title: Operator I (Medical Device Assembler)

Job Location: Pleasanton, CA, U.S.A.

Job Type: Contract (possible extension or conversion)

Pay: $21.50/Hr.

Shift Structure: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

The Role of the Medical Device Assembler:

Produces high-quality medical devices and related accessories using applicable tools

Review all documentation for completeness and accuracy

Maintain the organization, inventory levels, and the cleanliness of the device packaging area

Performs a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, and/or digital/analog circuitry

Follows safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operations

Utilizes the microscope to complete assembly inspections

About the Medical Device Assembler: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages.

Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts as well as demonstrate manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination

High school degree or equivalent

Previous experience working in medical assembly, cleanroom, assembly line, or manufacturing
