Laundry Tunnel Operator

Job Description

The Tunnel Operator is responsible for operating and loading of tunnel washer with proper linen weights, putting in correct formulas, unloading dryers, watching for any alarms.

Duties:

Report to work on time, in proper uniform and appearance and maintain standard though out the assigned shift.

Look for safety issues and report to Laundry Manager

Lift and move large quantities of linen.

Able to multitask.

Supports the company culture expectation on delivering 4 diamond service.

Adherence to all departmental and company policies, including but not limited to the attendance and appearance policy and the code of conduct.

Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent required.

Be organized, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities and deadline pressures.

Must be able to maintain high levels of confidence.

Basic knowledge and use of computers

Lift over 40 pounds consistently

Good vision and hearing capabilities to ensure safety while working around equipment.
