The Leffell School is a cutting-edge K-12 Jewish independent school serving 850 students on two campuses in Westchester County, NY, 30 minutes north of New York City. We emphasize academic excellence, traditional Jewish learning and values, and a strong sense of community.
Position Overview:
The Admissions Associate will report directly to the Director of Lower School Admissions. The Admissions Associate will share in the responsibility for all initiatives and activities related to student recruitment and enrollment for Lower School grades K-5. There is a combination of creative and clerical work. Candidates must be able to engage professionally and enthusiastically in the process of working with prospective families and articulating the mission and programs of the school.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the planning and execution of all admissions and outreach events, including building signup forms, managing RSVPs, event setups, event materials (marketing graphics, flyers, schedules), and event follow up
Oversee the admissions/outreach calendar
Maintain a digital folder with graphics, supply lists, setup sheets, and notes for all aspects of each event
Build a monthly email to prospective families, including information about upcoming admissions programs
Send event updates with dates/times to our communications team who manages the website
Update a calendar of upcoming weekly tours
Manage the admissions database, track admissions prospects, and generate reports
Communicate with prospective families regarding admissions process and events
Maintain organized spreadsheets with applicant information
Process applications and inquiries
Oversee inventory of supplies for Admissions Office
Provide support to main office staff
Qualifications:
Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills - professional, welcoming, and friendly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Blackbaud, Google Workspace, and Mailchimp
Knowledge of social media is preferred
This full-time position requires occasional Sunday and evening events.

Compensation and Benefits:
• Pay Rate: $57,000-$67,000
• Benefits: Generous paid time off, including personal and vacation days, holidays, and reduced work hours during the summer. Health benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, and FSAs. Others include a retirement saving plan (403b) and wellness benefits.
