Job Summary
Dominion Energy is currently seeking an experienced analyst to join their Access Control & Compliance team, working out of Cayce, SC. This job is part of the Corporate Intelligence and Security Organization within Dominion Energy. There is one position available and it will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience.
Provides mission-critical contributions to the Corporate Intelligence and Security (CIS) Access Control and Physical Security Compliance Programs. This role is vital to operational teams, providing tactical analysis and research in support of the Physical Security Access Control System (PACS). This role is multifaceted and supports the CIS mission to protect Dominion Energy’s people, its customers, and its cyber and physical assets from harm by mitigating threats, closing intelligence gaps, and properly assessing vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Review sophisticated physical security systems and technologies, coordinate system testing, and troubleshoot PACS with other software platforms
Manage software interfaces between PACS and enterprise systems
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on various system and process issues and access control management during normal and emergency response
Use independent decision-making in high-stress environments and the ability to manage multiple priorities with consistent results
Perform complex analysis using both automated and manual systems
Utilize strong critical thinking skills to evaluate system interfaces and identity management between PACS, enterprise directories, and visitor management systems.
Work with IT and security operations to improve processes, administer badge credentials at scale, and build test plans for system upgrades and maintenance.
Build and assess activity reports and investigation products in support of internal and external investigations groups
Develop and maintain access control and security policies
Coordinate and maintain liaison with various internal stakeholders, internal operations teams at field offices and generation stations, and third-party vendors

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Business Performance Analyst: 3+ years of directly related experience (A partial year of experience of 6 months or more will be rounded up to one year).
Senior Business Performance Analyst: 5+ years of directly related experience (A partial year of experience of 6 months or more will be rounded up to one year).
Specific knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:
Critical to this role is familiarity and ability to learn and manage complex software systems and interfaces (specific experience with physical security is preferred but not required).
Experience in IT systems, identity management, software interfaces, and/or physical security in a public-safety emergency center, government fusion center, or in an investigative or analytical role in IT, energy sector, corporate security, regulatory, or other agency or organization.
Knowledge of critical infrastructure protection issues and credential technologies such as key cards, badges, and smart keys.
Demonstrated use and understanding of security concepts and sophisticated technologies to support data integrity and data quality. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills applied in a security environment.
Critical to this role is familiarity and ability to learn and manage complex software systems and interfaces (specific experience with physical security is preferred but not required).
Ability to conduct research and analysis and document findings in a cohesive and succinct product for all CIS and internal stakeholders.
Ability to process and document multiple internal and external requests.
Ability to navigate and utilize modern technology and platforms for access control and data synchronization.
Ability to respond to security events and provide in-depth security expertise.
Ability to manage the flow of sensitive information between systems.
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple work processes.
Ability to provide leadership in a team environment.
Ability to work independently and achieve results with minimal supervision while maintaining the utmost professionalism and confidentiality.
Ability to be responsive to tasks from multiple stakeholders while maintaining thoroughness and accuracy.
Ability to maintain excellent records for audit, reference, and accountability.
Ability to obtain government-issued security clearance, as required.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor
Preferred Discipline: Criminal Justice, Business, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or technical equivalent.
