We invite you to join our team as a Cycle Counter at our Tallapoosa, GA facility, where you will play a vital role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting operational efficiency.
The Cycle Counter is responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and ensuring that inventory records are kept up to date and accurate. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
Document and report cycle count results and adjustments in the inventory management system.
Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate receiving, storage, and shipping of materials.
Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on inventory processes.
Maintain compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures.
Adhere to established quality standards in all aspects of the job.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in inventory management or cycle counting preferred.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in counting and recording inventory.
Proficiency with inventory management systems and basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Ability to identify discrepancies and report to department manager.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that may require standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
