The Logistics Manager is responsible for the movement, storage and distribution of goods in the most efficient manner possible.

Under general direction manages the overall flow of raw materials and finished goods throughout the company including but not limited to purchase order receipts, sales order shipments and intra-company transfers.

This position is also responsible for securing reliable freight vendors at the most efficient rates.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with sales, operations, scheduling and customer service teams Monitors the Sales Order Report to ensure on time customer shipments Coordinate Purchase Order pickups and intra-company transfers Secure freight carriers and review/approve freight invoices Review and create warehouse operating procedures and ensure compliance Monitor forklift maintenance agreements Lead, train and evaluate 2 shipping managers, 2 lead persons and approximately 7-8 order pickers Implement and monitor the cycle count process for raw materials and finished goods Ability to travel to our Dixon facility as needed Preferred Skills: Requires 5-8 years of experience in logistics or related field Ability to coach and train ERP System experience preferably in inventory-based software Ability to navigate Excel and use basic functions This list is non-exhaustive and represents the primary responsibilities of the position at this time.
