Senior Database Administrator

The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Database Administrator to join the team in either El Segundo, CA.
We are looking for a dedicated Database Administrator that will work with Oracle E-Business Suite Applications. The Database Administrator (DBA) will have a strong passion for solving complex problems and challenges while collaborating with worldwide Technical and Functional teams.
Position Responsibilities:
Monitors Oracle systems and provides DBA support
Installs, configures, and upgrades Oracle server software and related products; Monitor the applications and databases
Establishes and maintains backup and recovery policies and procedures
Designs and implements the applications
Implements and maintains database security (build, maintain users/roles, assign privileges)
Monitors replication
Provides 24x7 support when required
Performs incident and problem management and consults with development teams
Works with support teams for technical support
Performs database and application maintenance, tuning, and performance monitoring; Cloning and sync non-prod environments from Production (PROD)
Participates in Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) and Information Technology (IT) Statutory audits to execute database queries and provide evidence to the auditors for Change Management and Security Controls
Provides E-Business Suite (EBS) System Admin (SYSADMIN) support
Monitors and reports on the concurrent managers and programs
Installs, repairs, patches, performs tuning of Oracles applications
Clones databases for Oracle e-business Suite
Patches databases for Oracle
Coordinates Operating System (OS) upgrade and patching activities
Monitors and manages of database and application storage using both Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) and Network File System (NFS)
Manages Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificates for Linux webservers
Tunes performance and optimization of systems
Coordinates with functional teams and developers
Troubleshoots and administrates backup and recovery
Maintains space in a 24x7 development environment
Reviews and troubleshoots SQL queries and recommendations for performance enhancements
Creates and maintains environment run books and procedure documentation
Responds to incidents and service requests submitted through service now
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in SOX, SOX audits, process improvements, and policy creation
Experience in relational databases such as Oracle
Experience collaborating with internal partners to meet business goals and objectives
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience working in the Information Technology (IT) field

Summary pay range: $126,650 - $171,350
