Minimum Education
Associate of Science (AS) degree in Film and Video Production Technology
Minimum Experience/Training
Proficiency with digital video cameras and audio equipment
Familiarity with production workflows, including setup and breakdown of gear
Ability to follow detailed instructions and creative direction
Experience working independently on location or in studio settings
Essential Functions
Capture instructional video content as outlined in shot lists and production briefs
Operate and maintain college-provided video, audio, and lighting equipment
Set up and dismantle equipment before and after shoots
Collaborate with instructors and staff to ensure video clarity and instructional quality
Adhere to project timelines and production standards
Maintain professionalism and communicate effectively throughout each project
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of camera operation, framing, and visual storytelling
Ability to take creative and technical direction
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills on set
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Capable of working with minimal supervision and adjusting to different filming environments
Flexibility to work irregular hours based on project needs
Additional Information:
Equipment is provided by the college
Compensation is on a per-project basis, with an hourly wage for filming including hours for set-up and breakdown.
Employment is contingent upon a successful background check conducted by Sterling
