Job Description:

At Regions, the Treasury Stress Testing Analyst contributes to the optimization of the Company’s balance sheet by providing key business insights into the deposit and lending functions on the value and cost of liquidity.

Primary Responsibilities

Plays a key role in providing support for strategic decisions, risk assessments, and daily operations

Works closely with senior analysts or managers in conducting moderately complex activities pertaining to quantitative or qualitative analysis and assist in the continuous improvement of various processes within the group

Gains visibility into various investment or market products; risk metrics and processes; and increase understanding of enterprise-wide company initiatives

Accounts for the design, development, and implementation of analytical frameworks that inform the organization’s liquidity needs through various economic cycles

Maintains and seeks opportunities to improve quantitative analytical tools

Assists in the development of new analytical approaches to quantifying material risks to the bank

Assists with innovating methods to identify material risks, and implement processes to monitor these risks

Generates monthly and quarterly reports that may be provided to executive management, regulators, or oversight committees

Prepares detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management

Conducts routine-to-moderately complex financial analysis that helps inform liquidity strategies, risk measurement, and profitability metric

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field

Skills and Competencies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Familiarity with stress testing

Prior experience in a Treasury, Finance, Risk Management, or related field

Proficient working knowledge of financial concepts and strong quantitative skills

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel functions and capabilities

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense.

Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target:

Minimum:$65,693.10 USD

Median:$85,510.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:This job is not incentive eligible.
