Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master's Degree a plus
SolidWorks or ProE
CFD, thermal, stress, vibration analysis
Experience in the medical device (Class I or II) required
Experience taking a concept from design through to production, ideally led several products from womb to tomb
Previous project management or leadership experience required
Systems/architecture-level development experience for medical devices
Design experience for sheet metal, plastics, and mechanisms; robotics experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA regulations Responsibilities:
Serve as the technical lead for new product development projects and the main point of contact for clients
Applies knowledge of sheet metal and plastic manufacturing processes to the overall design of products
Will take medical devices from development to clinical controls
Consider the input of the entire team for design input, solutions to challenges, and cost-control methods
Communicate clearly with internal team, vendors, and customers
