Job Summary
Primary Duties
Preforming load & rate test of springs (Clamp or Unclamped) and storage of load & rate data chart on network.
Keep the testing lab, as well as fatigue testing equipment clean and all testing equipment organized and in good working condition.
Set-up and monitoring of fatigue testing samples, ability to follow instruction as outlined on (PA-12 FOI fatigue or rate test request\plan) and log progress thru the fatigue testing life cycles. Turn in data collected upon testing completion, for storage on network.
Observe new prototype thru the shop floor, and log issues, retrieve and store Quality inspection sheets or difficulties in processing.
Build small run new prototype and record all dimensional on Spec, turn in dimensional finding to product development manager for storage on network.
Monitor new (Dies) heat treat forms on 1st time being used, check to ensure that no burr, high spot are causing kinks, mark across leaves, pad marks, etc...
Locate possible heat treat forms for new product, if no new forms are being built.
Test these forms for fit & function, and F/H achievement before processing thru heat treat.
Verify Parts meet specification using approved check gauges.
Responsible to wear all provided safety equipment for safe job performance.
Qualifications
Must possesses strong ability to read & comprehend Spec and drawings.
Ability to work with high-tech equipment, faro-arm, load & rate tester, fatigue testing equipment, as well as 2 axis fatigue testing equipment.
Ability to learn advance software, for testing equipment.
Leadership ability to schedule & follow prototype thru the production shop floor.
Ability to maintain proper documentation & info of prototype processing thru shop floor.
Must work well with peer, with ability to verbally communicate task to production workers \ or supervisors.
Maintain professional posture \ calmness under pressure.
