We have an exciting opportunity for an Instructional Designer to be accountable for designing training programs for all facets of our HR Training Department. This is a temporary to hire position.
As an Instructional Designer, you will conduct needs assessment and analysis to identify new development opportunities and work with all members of Leadership to make recommendations. Using your knowledge of current and upcoming instructional technology, you will assist the HR Training team members in modifying current materials, while designing and developing materials and instructional programs.

Responsibilities
Collaborates with the HR Training Department in the design, development, and modification of instructional programs
Develops training programs, including classroom instruction, online courses, and self-study sessions for contact center agents, senior staff and management
Facilitates training programs when necessary and demonstrates mastery of content and adult learning principles
Develops and updates course content as necessary and ensures all materials are accurate and current
Assists the Manager and team members in conducting training assessments prior to requested programs to ensure training is necessary, and to identify new learning and development needs
Assists departmental employees in the use of onsite technology, platforms and systems and serves as the onsite technology subject matter expert
Set instructional end goals and create content that matches them
Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and design methodologies
Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course
Maintain project documentation and course folders
Asset team members with reporting requirements
Studies and remains current and familiar with field operations practices and procedures to assist in the development of cross-organizational materials, if necessary

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the field/training environment
In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
Lesson and curriculum planning skills
Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts
Expert in Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge
Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Experience with instructional design software preferred
