About the Role:
As the Logistics Manager, youâ ll lead the coordination, tracking, and inventory of all structured cabling materialsâ from copper and fiber optics to ladder racks and conduitsâ across multiple active job sites. This is a key leadership role that ensures our projects remain on schedule, fully stocked, and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct all logistics activities related to low voltage installations across data center construction sites.
Build and maintain detailed tracking systems for materials like fiber, copper cabling, patch panels, trays, and conduits.
Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and project management teams to forecast demand and prevent shortages.
Coordinate on-time deliveries and ensure alignment with project timelines and labor schedules.
Manage vendor relationships and shipping/freight partnerships to secure optimal pricing and service.
Conduct site visits to audit logistics performance and confirm material handling standards.
Oversee inventory control for cable reels, terminations, patch cords, and support systems.
Implement process improvements to streamline logistics operations and optimize warehouse flow.
Maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices for storing and handling sensitive structured cabling components.
What Youâ ll Bring:
5+ years in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse managementâ preferably in low voltage or data center environments
Deep familiarity with structured cabling materials: fiber optics, copper, trays, ladder racks, and conduits
Proven experience managing materials for data center construction, fit-outs, or large-scale cabling projects
Expertise in ERP/logistics software and inventory management tools
Strong communication, organization, and vendor coordination skills
OSHA certification or a strong understanding of safety and handling protocols
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between local job sites as needed
