Responsibilities
This is the fourth level of a four level job series within Community Health System's Information Technology Services (ITS), Desktop Design and Client Services department. Endpoint Solutions Engineers design, implement and support endpoint solutions within the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficiency, security and optimal performance of endpoint systems, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals. Serves as an expert and lead to other team members. Speaks for the department to internal/external customers and stakeholders to design and implement endpoint solutions that align with business requirements, ensuring scalability, security and reliability. The Endpoint Solutions Engineer 4 demonstrates an advance level understanding of endpoint technologies, use of applications and tools and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Provides expert technical support and troubleshooting assistance, contributes to the development of new ideas and typically works independently/leads projects.
Qualifications
Education• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field required• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree and experience requirements Experience• 6 years of information technology experience in a large enterprise environment required• Experience in designing, implementing and supporting endpoint solutions in an enterprise environment required• Experience in Project Management required• Experience with cloud technologies preferred• Work experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting preferred Licenses and Certifications• Two of the following certifications are preferredo CompTia Certified: A+, Server+, Network+, Security+, Linux+ or relatedo Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, Enterprise Administrator Expert, Messaging Administrator Associate, Security Administrator Associate, Teams Administrator Associate, Teams Support Engineer Specialty, Endpoint Administrator or relatedo Nutanix Certified: Associate, Professional - End User Computing or relatedo VMware Certified: Technical Associate or Professionalo Other relevant systems/endpoint management certifications
