VillageCare of New York is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer + Solution Architect with over 4 years of experience in Salesforce administration, implementation and support.
This position will work with other Salesforce administrators, developers, software engineers' data engineers/analyst, product managers, and project managers to plan, design, code, and test functionally.
This role works on every level of the technology stack, from the user interface and services to business logic and data access.
The Salesforce Developer/Solution Architect will deliver sophisticated product features to our internal stakeholders by building new digital product solutions, as well as supporting and refactoring existing logic in Salesforce Service Cloud that align with the overall strategic direction of VillageCare.

Our service area now includes all five boroughs of NYC, as well as Westchester, Nassau, and Putnam counties.nnJob dutiesnnProven experience as a Salesforce Developer and Salesforce Solution and/or Technical Architect, with expertise in Apex, LWCs, Aura, Visualforce, and SOQL.nStrong understanding of Salesforce best practices, governance, and security.nStrong understanding of Salesforce configurations such as object relationships, page layouts, lightning record pages, lightning app builder etc.nProven experience with Salesforce integration tools (e.g.
REST/SOAP APIs) and third-party applications.nExperience with DevOps, including branching, conflict resolution, and release pipelines.nProficiency with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).nExperience working with Product Management and Agile methodologies.
nPrior Salesforce Administrator experience, focusing on user management, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security settingsnTranslate business requirements into functional and technical designs for Salesforce solutions.nDevelop and maintain the Salesforce data model for various implementation projects.nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiencesnnQualification:nnEducation: BA/BS in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field.nCertifications: Salesforce Administrator, Solution Architect, Platform Developer I&II or other applicable certifications.nExperience:nSalesforce product knowledge with 3-5 years of hands-on experience with the Service Cloud, Community Portal and TableaunDemonstrated proficiency in all parts of Salesforce's configuration space, including native and custom objects, page layouts, validation rules, workflows, alerts, process builder actions, third-party technology integrations, user management, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security settingsn3-5 years of experience working within the Healthcare field.nKnowledge of Information Technology best practices and frameworks such as ITIL, SDLC, and PMO.nExperience with Informatica ETLnExcellent oral and written communication skills.n
