Job Summary:
This role is responsible for assisting Meeting House Lane Medical Practice in the operational efficiency of its ambulatory practices. The ideal candidate will possess leadership and analytical skills to drive process improvement and support daily operations. Key responsibilities include assisting in overseeing daily operations, supporting strategic plans, and ensuring compliance with organizational goals.
The Operations Manager will collaborate closely with the SBAS/SBCM Director of Operations, the MHLMP practice administrator, corporate office staff, and providers to optimize patient care, enhance efficiency, and foster a positive work environment. This position reports to the Director of Operations for SB Administrative Services, LLC & Stony Brook Community Medical, PC.
Essential Job Functions:
Operational Support: Assists the Director in prioritizing and executing key projects and initiatives.
Process Improvement: Facilitates the organization's adaptation to evolving healthcare regulations, technological advancements, and internal process improvements by proactively identifying needs, developing transition strategies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Change Leadership and Communication: Collaborates with leadership, providers, and staff to effectively communicate the rationale for change initiatives and build understanding and support. Assists in developing communication plans, addressing concerns, and promoting a collaborative environment for successful implementation.
Staff Support: Provides guidance and support to practice staff.
Performance Analysis: Develops and analyzes practice metrics to support operational decision-making.
Software Support: Supports the implementation, training, and optimization of practice management software (e.g., Phreesia, athenaIDX, Blk Bag, Cyracom).
Site Visitation: Conducts regular site visits to assess operational performance.
Cross-Functional Support: Provides coverage for various positions as needed.
