Scrum Master

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery across distributed teams in a fast-paced fintech environment. This role will support the execution of product roadmaps by facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing blockers, and coordinating effective collaboration between onshore and offshore teams.

You will work closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to deliver high-quality financial technology solutions that power innovative digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives) for globally distributed teams.

Act as a bridge between onshore and offshore teams to align priorities, ensure smooth handoffs, and minimize delivery friction across time zones.

Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to groom backlogs and define sprint goals.

Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, and release planning using JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Identify and resolve impediments affecting delivery, productivity, or team cohesion.

Champion Agile principles and coach team members to foster a high-performance, self-organizing culture.

Maintain sprint artifacts and communicate metrics to leadership and business stakeholders.

Align sprint delivery to broader fintech compliance, security, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

3–5 years of Scrum Master experience, preferably in fintech or SaaS environments.

Proven success managing Agile teams across onshore and offshore locations.

Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and their practical application in a regulated industry.

Proficiency with JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to balance business priorities, sprint commitments, and technical complexities in a regulated financial setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or SAFe certification.

Background or understanding of financial services, payments, trading platforms, or banking APIs.

Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and DevOps principles in Agile delivery.
