Pay is up to $85,000 annually

This position is onsite and not remote

This full time, permanent Extrusion Tooling Design Engineer (Plastics) is at a growing, very flexible, employee-friendly, ISO certified manufacturer of plastic extrusion products. This position could grow into a department head position, if that is of interest. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

Creating plastic extrusion tooling designs for profile extrusion, co-extrusion and tri-extrusion

Directing the designing, building, modifying, installing and maintaining efforts

Working with the manufacturing team to troubleshoot and improve production processes

Assisting machine operators and machinists

Adjusting the extrusion tooling

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

3+ years of plastic extrusion tooling design experience for profile extrusion, co-extrusion and tri-extrusion

3+ years of strong extrusion processing experience

A solid work history

A US citizen or possess a green card

A residence within 45-minutes
