Summary
Responsible for assisting the Practice Manager with activities and projects related to the daily operation of the Practice. Represents the Practice in a professional and courteous manner and functions with minimal supervision. Receives incoming telephone calls and greets visitors in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
Minimum Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
Three years of administrative experience (e.g., patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification) in a healthcare setting.
Proficiency with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Previous experience utilizing an electronic practice management system. Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in a related field.
Five years of administrative experience (i.e. registration, scheduling, insurance verification) in a healthcare setting.
