Job Title: Lead Planner/Scheduler - Battery Plant Construction
Location: Florence, SC
Per Diem: $115/day (for candidates residing more than 50 miles from the project site)
Work Schedule: 50 hours/week (40 hours onsite + 10 hours remote)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Planner/Scheduler to support a battery plant construction project in Florence, SC. This position plays a key role in the successful planning and execution of the project schedule, with a strong focus on advanced project controls and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the project controls schedule team in planning and scheduling activities, including float analysis, earned value management, startup planning, and constructability reviews.
Independently apply advanced project controls techniques and analysis with minimal supervision.
Review and interpret contractual scheduling requirements; provide feedback and recommendations based on contract language.
Identify trends, risks, and issues in collaboration with project management and escalate as needed.
Lead risk and change management discussions and facilitate resolution strategies.
Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced project controls personnel.
Achieve a high level of forecasting accuracy and proactively address potential scheduling impacts.
Support departmental and organizational initiatives related to project controls. Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Primavera P6.
At least 1 year of construction project experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM).
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to positively influence both internal and external stakeholders.
