Our team serves prestigious Healthcare, Higher Education, and public institutions in the tristate area.

We are currently seeking a seasoned and skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading high-profile construction projects from planning through completion, while overseeing and mentoring a team of Project Managers and other junior resources. This role requires advanced knowledge of engineering systems, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to manage complex projects, particularly in healthcare and institutional settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in strategic planning, project execution, team management, financial oversight, and stakeholder coordination.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide overall direction and leadership for all phases of project execution, from preconstruction through closeout.

Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, staffing, and logistics, to ensure successful delivery.

Oversee and mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and support staff, ensuring consistent performance and development across project teams.

Direct and coordinate work among internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to meet project goals.

Assess project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate delays, budget overruns, or operational impacts.

Interpret and review construction plans, technical specifications, and submission requirements, providing guidance and value engineering where needed.

Lead the procurement process, including bid package development, proposal evaluation, and vendor negotiation in accordance with client policies.

Review and adapt standard agreements to project specific needs for Lump sum and GMP contracts, as needed, in accordance with client's best interests and other applicable policies.

Maintain ongoing communication with clients and key stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.

Create phasing plans and logistical strategies that accommodate operational constraints, particularly in active healthcare environments.

Ensure adherence to all safety, compliance, and quality standards throughout project execution. Essential Skills and Abilities:

Cultivate relationships within client organizations to coordinate work and make decisions effectively.

Demonstrate excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.

Communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing, while maintaining a proactive and solutions-driven approach.

Proficiency in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite, and Bluebeam.

Ability to comprehend ARCH & MEP drawings and reports, with a focus on identifying potential improvements for project implementation. Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.

10+ years of relevant construction industry experience.

3+ years of experience in healthcare project management or relevant fields.

Proven ability to lead project teams and deliver complex projects from inception to completion.
