To learn more about Baptist Health, visit us at Maintains the integrity of Materials Management Inventory Systems as they relate to Surgical Services and the Cath Lab; develops and implements policies and procedures as they pertain to physical inventory, is responsible for the training and oversight of inventory control personnel, promotes cost effectiveness through the utilization of computerized inventory management software and Point of Use Systems. Works with Surgery Fiscal Manager, Surgery Clinical Informatics Coordinator and Materials Management to ensure correct billing and charging.
High School Diploma. College Associate Degree preferred. Specialized training as a Buyer and Purchasing Agent or Scrub Tech and Circulator, preferred. Purchasing or Surgical Services. Significant vendor knowledge required.Significant personal computer experience required. Ability to perform financial analysis and create spreadsheets is a must. Database creation and maintenance is essential. Leadership skills. Analytical skills to prioritize work tasks. Strong communication skills, written and verbal are necessary.None
