We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Recruiter to manage the day-to-day operations of our company’s temporary staffing program. This is a 9 month contracted assignment. This role will serve as the primary liaison between staffing agencies and internal departments, ensuring a seamless process for onboarding, performance management, and compliance of all temporary staff. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, communication, and administrative skills, with prior experience in staffing, recruiting, or HR coordination.

RM Palmer Company, LLC designs, produces, packages, and ships seasonal chocolate novelties. Our products include filled chocolates, solid chocolates, chocolate bars and balls, chocolate cups and coins, chocolate patties, and seasonal products. In addition to their own branded products, the Company co-manufactures both seasonal and everyday products for other large branded companies. Today, the Company operates out of two manufacturing facilities and one distribution facility with ~600 full-time employees. R.M. Palmer Company, LLC has some of the most differentiated manufacturing capabilities in the industry as one of the only companies in the U.S. able to make hollow molded chocolate candy products and multicolor chocolate candy novelties.

Recruiter Responsibilities:

Manage relationships with third-party staffing agencies and serve as the primary point of contact for all temporary staffing matters.

Oversee onsite temporary staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and performance expectations.

Communicate labor needs to staffing agencies to ensure timely placement of temporary personnel.

Monitor and track temp-to-hire hours and eligibility status for conversion to full-time employment.

Run payroll and attendance reports, accurately reporting hours worked to staffing agencies.

Audit timecards for attendance bonus eligibility and escalate discrepancies as needed.

Meet regularly with department supervisors to review performance, attendance, and upcoming staffing needs.

Coordinate onboarding materials for new temporary hires, including smocks, badges, and supplies.

Maintain the Paylocity roster with current temporary staff assignments and status changes.

Process and track pre-hire requirements, such as background checks and documentation for temporary-to-permanent transitions.

Review and approve staffing agency invoices to ensure accuracy before processing.

Serve as a liaison between supervisors and staffing agencies, addressing and resolving any issues promptly.

Support full-cycle recruitment for hourly production roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and onboarding.Requirements:

This role requires an onsite presence and regular interaction with internal departments and staffing agency representatives, and may occasionally involve walking through production or warehouse areas to check in with temporary staff.

2+ years of experience in staffing coordination, human resources, or related field.

Familiarity with staffing agency processes and temporary labor management.

Proficiency with HR software, timekeeping systems, and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Paylocity is a plus.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
