Job Title: SecDevOps .Net Developer
Location: Mesa, AZ
Job Type: Contract 6 months in duration
Work schedule: hybrid schedule
Pay Rate: $60 per hour
Position Overview:
Skilled .NET Developer with a strong background in SecDevOps, cybersecurity, and vulnerability prevention. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and securing applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security tools and processes into CI/CD pipelines.
Conduct security assessments, code reviews, and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.
Work with stakeholders to define security requirements and integrate them into application design and architecture.
Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, applying knowledge to improve application security.
Provide technical guidance and support to new members of the team on secure coding practices.
Document security-related processes, tools, and configurations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API).
Strong understanding of SecDevOps principles and methodologies.
Proven experience in cybersecurity and vulnerability prevention techniques.
Familiarity with security frameworks (OWASP, NIST).
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and their security features.
Proficiency in database technologies (Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL Server, Entity Framework).
Knowledge of version control systems and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
Certifications in cybersecurity (CISSP, CEH, Security+, OSCP) are a plus.
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with scripting languages (Python).
Experience with DAST/SAST solutions (Veracode)
Experience with automation tools (Terraform, AWS cloud formation)
