Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Marketing Director

Location: On-site

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our marketing team. This position is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of marketing operations across all roles within the department. The ideal candidate will have a blend of organizational skills, creativity, and a foundational understanding of graphic design tools and Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop.

Essential Functions:

Assist with day-to-day marketing tasks and coordinate marketing projects and activities.

Provide support to various roles within the department as needed.

Maintain organized records and inventory of marketing assets and supplies on-site.

Respond to internal inquiries and provide administrative support to the marketing team.

Maintain and update onsite marketing areas, including common office marketing space, sample and convention materials, local showroom and “Gandy on the Go” trailer.

Work closely with the Marketing Director and Product Team to update displays and ensure accurate and appealing product representation.

Create and apply garment tags for samples, ensuring accurate tracking and organization.

Prepare and pull marketing materials and supplies for conventions and events.

Manage incoming orders to the department, ensuring they are distributed or stored appropriately.

Assist local sales reps with product-related questions and support needs (locating items primarily).

Use Adobe Photoshop and AI tools to create and edit box flyers, mockups, and custom flyer requests—source and retouch product images as needed.

Assist with other basic design tasks aligned with brand guidelines.

Collaborate with the design team and marketing staff to fulfill creative requests on time and to spec.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule

8 am-5 pm or 8:30 am-5:30 pm, Monday-Thursday (32 hours weekly)Requirements:

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and basic computer functions.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Comfortable with hands-on, onsite tasks and working in a collaborative team setting.

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and flexibility to handle a variety of responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This is a fully onsite position requiring daily presence at our main office and local facilities.

The role involves light physical activity such as moving samples, organizing displays, and setting up materials for events.
