Job Description:
Position Overview: The Senior TMS Software Implementation Specialist will be responsible for leading the implementation of our transportation management system software for clients. This role requires strong project management skills, exceptional customer engagement, and account management abilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of transportation and logistics processes and a proven track record of successful software implementations. In addition, a background in accounting or experience with other ERP implementations is preferred. Candidates should also be comfortable upselling products and/or services to customers as this position carries a quota that makes up part of the total compensation package. Up to 30% travel may be expected with this role as well.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end implementation of TMS software for clients, ensuring timely and successful deployment.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to achieve project goals.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and tailor the TMS solution to meet those requirements.
Provide training and support to clients during and after implementation to ensure effective use of the software.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all implementation-related inquiries.
Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the implementation process.
Continuously improve implementation processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Travel to client sites as required, up to 30% of the time.
Promote PCS as a trusted business advisor to our customers.
Enhance the customer experience by educating them on the value of training packages, on site implementation packages, additional licenses, and additional API integrations to customers on a regular basis.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in TMS software implementation or a similar role.
Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent customer engagement and account management skills.
In-depth knowledge of transportation and logistics processes.
Proficiency in TMS software and related technologies.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Ability to be the trusted business advisor to our customers and complete value added sales for training courses during the course of the implmentation. (A portion of the compensation structure for this position is a bonus structure that rewards individuals for promoting PCS training courses, additional licenses, and API's.)
