We're hiring experienced Quality Control Managers to support a high-profile federal construction project in Concord, California. This is a full-time onsite opportunity with overtime and per diem options available for those coming from out of the area.
We are open to candidates with a background in either structural or MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) — both specialties are needed and will be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage daily QC processes including inspections, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
Submit daily reports and weekly summaries through project documentation systems.
Ensure all quality documentation aligns with federal standards and contract requirements.
Coordinate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure compliance and consistent quality execution.
Support additional project-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a technical or construction-related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of direct QC/QA management experience on federal construction projects (USACE or NAVFAC).
Current USACE or NAVFAC Quality Control Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with RMS (Resident Management System) and Procore or other construction management platforms.
Strong working knowledge of construction sequencing and scheduling tools.
30-Hour OSHA Certification and CPR/First Aid training.
Ability to access and handle sensitive federal project documentation.
Valid driver's license in good standing.
Must be eligible to pass a federal background check.
We're prioritizing local candidates, but strong regional applicants will be considered. If a candidate requires additional expenses beyond standard per diem, we are still open to reviewing their qualifications.
