Job Description:

an experienced IT Contractor to assess and enhance existing systems and processes related to roadway characteristics inventory and Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) reporting. This role involves identifying and implementing improvements to ensure compliance with updated HPMS and federal reporting requirements, addressing version compatibility issues, and resolving code-level discrepancies. The ideal candidate will bring subject matter expertise in Linear Referencing Methods, Oracle Workspace Manager, and roadway data management systems.

Responsibilities:

Assess current roadway characteristics inventory and HPMS processes and reporting systems.

Identify and resolve issues related to version compatibility, data integrity, and application code.

Implement system enhancements and modifications aligned with updated HPMS and federal reporting requirements.

Utilize Linear Referencing Methods and Oracle Workspace Manager to support roadway data management.

Ensure that all updates comply with regulatory standards and best practices in data reporting.

Collaborate with internal teams to validate enhancements and support implementation.

Review and optimize existing processes and database logic to improve system performance and accuracy.

Prepare technical documentation and provide support throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills:

Expertise in Linear Referencing Methods (Oracle-based).

Advanced knowledge of HPMS and federal reporting standards.

Strong experience with Roadway Characteristics Inventory Data Management.

Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle Workspace Manager.

Hands-on experience with Oracle database systems.

Knowledge of Oracle Linux operating systems.
