The Loader Operator is responsible for the safe operation of Heavy Equipment (Front End Loader, Skid Steer Loader, Articulating Haul Truck) at the aggregate pit in order to maximize production. The Loader Operator is responsible for preventive maintenance and assisting with basic maintenance activities to include greasing and lubricating process equipment, plant housekeeping and machinery maintenance in addition to using a front-end loader.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Heavy equipment operation.

· Directly communicate with truck drivers/customers visiting the site.

· Perform routine inspection and maintenance on plant equipment.

· Assist with plant repairs, maintenance and housekeeping.

· Maintain material quality.

· Maintains constant awareness of safety, efficiency and displays a flexibility and out of the box thinking with the capability to solve problems.

· Communicate production and maintenance needs to plant management.

· Other duties as assigned.Requirements:

· Heavy equipment operation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Perform all work in accordance with WSM and MSHA Safety policies.

· The work is performed outdoors and/or indoors, enduring heat, cold, rain, dust, wind, and other elements.

· Capable of operating various types of heavy equipment and/or machinery.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

· Physical demands include but are not limited to walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting – 50 pounds minimum.
