Interactwithclients,vendors,contractors,architects,othertradesandfellowelectricalengineerstodesignforpermitandforconstructionelectricaldrawingsanddocumentsutilizingCADoranyotherapplicabletools.
Createandmanageproject/designjobfolders.
Developaccurateandprecisedesignscomplyingwiththecontractscopeofwork,projectspecification,InPwrdraftingstandards,practices,policiesandstopgateprocedures.
ReviewsupplierdrawingsandimplementintothedesigntomeetNECclearancerequirements.
Workwithengineersandfieldinstallationexpertstodevelopinstallationdetailstomeetprojectneeds.
SetupCADoperationsystem,giveinputtothedevelopmentofassociatedSOP.
Prepareasbuiltdrawingsasperfieldredlinemarkupdrawing.Ensuretobereviewedandapprovedbyresponsiblefiledteammemberandprojectmanagerbeforeissuing.
Proficientwithindustrialdesignsoftwareupgradeornewpotentialdesigntoolswhichwillimprovedesignandconstruction.Specifically,AUTOCAD2018ornewer,REVIT2017ornewer.
AssistBIMimplementationandcoordinationwiththeprojectteam.
Responsibleforhelpingtomaintainplotterandplottingprocesses.
Mustbeabletobeateamplayer,yetworkindependently,beagoodcommunicatorandhaveproblemsolvingskills.
FamiliaritywithlightingdesignsoftwareAgi32isaplus.
PositionQualifications:

Computer-AidedDesign(CAD)DraftingTechnologiesDegree
OrIECapprenticeshipprogramgraduateswhoisproficientinAutoCADandisinterestedinworkinginElectricaldesignfield.
Orindividualwithanyengineeringbachelor'sdegreewhoisproficientinAutoCADandisinterestedinworkingatElectricaldesignfield.

Abilitytoworkinanofficeenvironment.
