Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

JA Solar is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Invoice Coordinator to join our logistics and supply chain team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth coordination of inbound and outbound logistics operations, while managing freight audit and payment processes with precision and accountability. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of logistics and international shipping processes, and the ability to manage invoice discrepancies and carrier communications effectively. This position bridges operational logistics with financial accuracy, contributing to overall supply chain efficiency in a dynamic solar manufacturing environment.

Duties and responsibilities:

· Ensure timely invoice submission by carriers, custom broker and service providers within the correct accounting periods.

· Submit the correct payment amounts into the system on a weekly basis, ensuring consistency with the amount log.

· Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and corrective action.

· Monitor carrier payment terms and resolve disputes, short-pays, or aged invoices.

· Maintain a log of discrepancies by carrier, custom broker and amount to support performance reviews and contract evaluations.

· Collaborate with internal departments to identify and implement process improvements that streamline invoice and payment workflows.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

· Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other data analytics

· High attention to detail and accountability in managing financial data and operational logistics.

· Understanding international logistics, shipping documentation and customs compliance

· Working knowledge of logistics contracts and pricing models, including warehousing, ocean freight, FTL (Full Truckload), and LTL (Less-than-Truckload) services

· Other job duties will be assigned

Language:

· Mandarin speaking preferred but not required
