Job Description
SUMMARY
Seeking a professional attendant to perform a variety of leaning and housekeeping duties. The attendant will be responsible for cleanup of RV Resort tiny cabins, glamping cottages, and office buildings. They will be in charge of maintaining all public and private spaces to employer standards. Duties will include vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, laundry, trash collection from offices/cabins/cottages, and housekeeping duties to include linen removal and replacement. Attention to detail and a positive attitude is a must. The right person is punctual, thorough but fast, and eager to learn.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Dusting and cleaning surface areas
Cleaning walkways, grounds, picnic pavilions and roadways
General pest removal, which includes spraying of bees, wasps, and ants
Performs general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of floors
Using vacuuming equipment, vacuums and cleans carpets, perform further treatments
Disposing of trash from bins/containers and cleaning; including parking lots
Polishing furniture and room accessories as needed
Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in private and public bathrooms
Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
Maintaining and upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products
Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products
Keeping all public spaces neat and tidy
Reporting repairs and replacement as needed when encountered on the job
Ability to follow verbal directions
Ability to work well alone, with a partner, or team
Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines; excellent time management skills
Pay attention to detail when cleaning
Organized and able to follow a schedule
Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and clean Motor vehicle Report for 3 years.
Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time; physically able to push vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time; ability to lift 30 pounds, and occasionally lift/or move up to 50 pounds
General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques of cleaning
Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Able to handle regular expose to outside weather conditions.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities
Prior experience is preferred, but training will be provided
Ability to calculate figures and transfer correctly to hourly/daily logs
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Must have valid Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Report
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands or finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving and mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
