Description:
Coordinate activities of workers concerned with receiving, inventorying, picking, and preparing products for same day receiving and shipping both nationally and internationally.
Identify work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
Issue written and oral instructions.
Examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to customer’s shipping and packaging requests and procedures.
Standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers.
Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.
Ensure correct shipment of all jobs have been completely processed and verified accurate through quality.
Monitor material handlers, forklift drivers, and CDL drivers for productivity.
Constant communication with our suppliers and internal departments to ensure on time delivery.
Interaction with our vendors and the sales department to address their needs, inquiries and requests.
Ship priority jobs and ensure all necessary paperwork is shipped with all jobs.
Review and monitor production schedules for the most accurate results with consideration to capacity levels, efficiency, etc.
Reviewing and monitoring ordering systems and acting on order releases to meet our overall goal of customer satisfaction, while ensuring compliance with our company policy.

Must have a thorough knowledge of production control processes and procedures.
Ability to read and speak English.
Must have basic knowledge of the metric system.
Must work in and develop a 5S environment.
Must have working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
Ability to maneuver up to 200 lbs. independently.
Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
Proven ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best.
Strong communication skills to ensure clarity and collaboration.
Experience in identifying and resolving problems quickly and efficiently.
A history of promoting a culture of learning, self-assessment, and development.
Must demonstrate honesty, reliability, and respect in all interactions.
Ability to deliver high-quality results efficiently.

Requires a minimum of 3 years of shipping/receiving experience or equivalent specialized training and/or work experience.
