Coating Machine Operator

2nd Shift

$2,500 Signing Bonus!*

AFC is looking for a Coater who will work alongside our team of professionals in a hands-on environment. As a Coater, you will be responsible for coating towers set-up and operation. You will be working on two of the following areas in coating: mixing, PTFE coating, horizontal front end, horizontal back end, Syteline system, and the calendar.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sets up rolls on Coating tower (horizontal, PTFE, and/or calendar) and records all pertinent information on the run-sheet.

Runs the coating towers based on the predetermined processing parameters.

Ensures quality product is being produced by making the necessary adjustments to the coating tower and checking quality throughout the process.

Maintains the towers and the immediate area to keep the department neat and orderly including following cleaning procedures.

Shuts down and cleans up department at the shifts end.

Sets up the rolls on the coating towers in preparation for the next day production schedule.

Mixes PTFE coating, following procedures.

Correctly completes all inventory transactions in the ERP system.

Pay: $18.00 per hour plus $2.50 shift differential

Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Knowledge of all aspects pertaining to PTFE and solvent coating onto fiberglass and other substrates.

Very basic computer skills. Ability to learn and use AFC software as it applies to the job.

Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds or team lift up to 100 pounds.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to obtain lift truck certification.
