Manufacturing Sales Professional
Job Overview:
Dynamic, experienced sales professional to manage existing customers and lead new business.
Responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers in defense, aerospace, and energy sectors to drive sales growth.
Develop and execute sales strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Able to close transactions to ensure sales targets and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, promoting our reputation for quality and reliability in every interaction.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with a focus on long-term partnerships that align with our continuous improvement goals.
Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to ensure accurate quoting and successful project execution.
Translate customer requirements into clear, actionable insights that contribute to internal process improvements and product quality enhancements.
Prepare and present detailed proposals and presentations that reflect a deep understanding of customer needs and our manufacturing capabilities.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer visits to promote our solutions and stay informed of market trends and competitive activity.
Serve as a customer advocate internally, helping to ensure all deliverables meet or exceed expectations for quality, timeliness, and value.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred)
3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in a manufacturing, industrial, or technical sales environment
Demonstration of a positive attitude that impacts the existing company culture.
Ability and eagerness to learn new skills and adjust to increased workloads displaying a helpful work ethic.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with production teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data to verify meets high quality standards.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, fabrication, assembly) and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications (preferred)
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision
