Banquet Setup Person

Job Description

Banquet Set-up Staff are responsible to properly set, maintain, refresh, breakdown, and clean banquet meeting rooms according to event orders and contracts.

Qualified candidates

Must be a team player who is motivated to exceed member and guest expectations, be detail oriented, has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, and is able to multi-task. Prior banquet set-up experience highly desired.

In addition to specific job requirements, we are looking for candidates that have a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Candidates must also be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Physical and Communication requirements include:

Ability to work long hours and stand for extended periods of time as well as perform repetitive actions for extended periods of time

Heavy Work Capabilities – Exert 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects

Possess the ability to bend, stoop, pull, stretch, twist, and reach with your body and arms

Up Close Vision - the ability to see details at close range

Must possess good communication skills and be able to read the English language to interpret a Catering Prospectus/Banquet Event Order.
