Summary:

The Electrode Senior Process Engineer will participate in optimizing productivity and sustainability of electrode production through high level of technical knowledge while ensuring stable mass production quality & PD improvement through recipe setting, aligning specifications, process capability management, and quality defect improvement based on a technical understanding of the process and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Analyze Quality issues to provide corrective & preventive actions

Specification optimization by Design Of Experiments (DOE) procedure and process conditions establishment

Non-conformance report handling and corrective action implementation

Establishment and revision of process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA), process flow diagram (PFD), PF Manual and control plan

Development of new model introduction (NPI) and 4M change verification

Conducting internal and customer audits

Response to internal / external quality issues for the customer

Chronic defect improvement activities

Work with engineers / operators to troubleshoot machines to ensure highest yield and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)

Compliance with health / safety / environmental / fire regulations

Analyze productivity, yield and OEE of assigned process and production department

Improve production processes by creating various standard operating procedures (SOP) and train operators to ensure understanding and correct implementation.

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience

7+ years of experience in electrode technology related job or equivalent, relevant experience

Skills:

Six Sigma Certification preferred but not required

MS Office Suite

Written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Organizational and multitasking skills

Korean language skills preferred but not required
