Description:
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a significant role in the leadership and growth of our business via inventory process/control, managing logistics and assets, and having autonomous ownership associated with warehouse management and staffing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product.
Including: functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc.
Driving and moving freight in a warehouse environment associated with receiving and loading.
Delivery and scheduling of equipment instillations (excluding plumbing and electrical).
Facilities management and best-practices in warehouse environment.
Fleet management – Manage scheduled PM for trucks and forklift
Effectively communicate in various mediums.
Manage warehouse operations, to include expertise in customer and vendor relations.
Training, managing, and development of warehouse staff.
Inventory analysis, control, and reorder points (protocols/action plans)
Logistics
Ability to operate independently.
Serve as a floater to fill gaps and resolve issues to ensure the best possible customer service.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibility.
Daily inventory control including cycle counts, research, reporting, and adjustments.
Ensure a high level of proficiency in all respective areas.
Work with management to provide any necessary training for employees.
Must be safety/security conscious, adhere to all guidelines in the Safety Manual, and report any accidents or incidents immediately.
Be knowledgeable about and follow company policy and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.Requirements:
Valid state driver license with clean driving record.
Ability to obtain/pass examination for DOT MED CARD
Ability to pass background check to obtain access to military bases, hospitals, and schools.
·Experience using warehouse equipment to include but not limited to forklifts, pallet walkers, hand dollies, electrical and non-electrical hand tools, and other hand-held tools.
High school diploma or equivalent
MS Office suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Supply chain and distribution.
Warehouse setup and organization
Flexible work schedule (which may include nights, weekends, holidays and long hours) and regular attendance is necessary with possibility for mandatory overtime.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
Desire to succeed in a high growth, fast-paced retail environment.
Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
