What You'll be Doing:
Process weekly payroll for multiple entities with accuracy and timeliness
Manage garnishments, child support, and certified payroll reporting
Ensure compliance with multi-state tax laws and prevailing wage requirements
Prepare and submit payroll-related tax filings (941s, W-2s, ACA, etc.)
Respond to employee questions regarding payroll and resolve discrepancies
Maintain clean, confidential payroll records and track employee benefit deductions
Collaborate with the accounting team on special projects and reporting
Audit timesheets and assist with compliance documentation
Who We're Looking For:
Associate’s degree in accounting or 2+ years of payroll experience required
Experience in construction, utilities, or project-based payroll is a big plus
Proficient in Excel and comfortable using accounting/payroll software
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple priorities
Strong communicator and proactive problem-solver
Able to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with regulations
