Position Overview
My client are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for the night shift (7pm-7am, 12 hours/shift) to ensure the quality of our products and support their Quality Assurance team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspections of all molded products in the Molding Department
Perform sampling and testing of compounds in the Compounding Department
Document and maintain quality inspection findings
Identify and document non-conformities, holding affected products for investigation
Manage hold product investigations and dispositioning
Maintain computer records and statuses for all quality activities
Manage JDE Inventory records for hold or released products
Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety rules
Foster positive relationships with co-workers, leads, supervisors, and managers
Maintain regular attendance
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months of related experience/training
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write correspondence, and present information effectively
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Forklift experience preferred
Good verbal communication and problem-solving skills
Physical Demands
Regular standing and walking
Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, and smelling
Occasional sitting, handling objects, and reaching
Lifting up to 25 pounds
Specific vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Work Environment
Occasional exposure to outside weather and wet/humid conditions
Occasional work near moving mechanical parts and exposure to fumes or airborne particles
Noise level consistent with plant operations
Required to wear steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and ear protection on the production floor.

Quality Inspection Experience
AS9100
Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
Injection Molding Experience
