GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: On shift support to troubleshoot and resolve electrical, pneumatic, and automation issues

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Troubleshoot pneumatics and instrumentation issues.

Press and robot troubleshooting, in conjunction with Maintenance and Process Technicians, as needed to assist with major issues.

Troubleshooting electrical issues, expert in wiring/re-wiring, and reading schematics.

Provide PLC assistance with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and trending of control systems.

Respond to all Quality and Operator issues regarding parts and processes.

·Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/TASKS/ABILITIES:

Proficient with pneumatic and Hydraulic systems and their interaction with PLC's and automated machinery

Proficient in repairs of pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment.

Experience with PLC programming modifications.

Proficient with PLC5, SLC500, RSLogix 5000, and familiar with other controllers.

Proficient in trouble shooting automated systems, schematics & wiring diagrams.

Skilled in electrical applications

Problem Solving

Plastic Injection Molding experience is a plus.
