DIRECT HIRE MECHANICAL PROJECT MANAGER KANSAS CITY

Join a leading specialty contractor as an Industrial Mechanical Project Manager in Kansas City. This role will manage self-performed work in industrial environments.

$90K-$115K, BOE

Responsibilities:

Manage industrial mechanical construction projects, ensuring completion on time and within budget.

Oversee field staff, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with contracts, safety, and regulations.

Coordinate project scheduling, monitor accounting, and maintain profitability.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Lead project teams in alignment with company leadership principles.

Travel to jobsites and company offices as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in construction or mechanical engineering, OR 5+ years of mechanical field trade experience, OR equivalent combination.

5+ years of mechanical construction project management experience on industrial projects (e.g., chemical, food and beverage, automotive, oil and gas).

Direct oversight of mechanical construction work required; general contracting experience insufficient

Strong skills in project coordination, budgeting, and client/vendor relations.

Valid driver's license and ability to pass background, drug, and motor vehicle checks.

Ability to travel as needed.

Local to the Kansas City metropolitan area preferred
