We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer with expertise in roads and highways to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary: The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and execution of road and highway projects. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, managing engineering designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting project delivery from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the engineering design and development of roads, highways, and associated civil infrastructure projects.

Oversee project lifecycle, including feasibility studies, conceptual and detailed design, and construction support.

Ensure designs comply with federal, state, and local transportation engineering standards and regulations.

Coordinate with government agencies, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Perform technical calculations, prepare engineering reports, and review design drawings and specifications.

Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.

Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and resolve engineering issues.

Implement quality control procedures to ensure the integrity of designs and construction outcomes.

Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, InRoads, or OpenRoads for design development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in road and highway design and engineering.

Strong knowledge of AASHTO, DOT, and FHWA design standards.

Proficiency in transportation engineering software and tools.

Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
