Volt is immediately hiring for a Electro-Plating Operations Support, at COLORADO SPGS, Colorado 80907?.

As a Electro-Plating Operations Support, you will: In this role, you will be providing chemical loading and movement of various chemistry types across our plating line as well as assisting in process and production services in the Electroplating Department, adding metal to precision parts, improving their function and value.

Uphold and enforce safety culture as it pertains to proper process and PPE usage within the workplace.

Perform plating chemical handling duties as required: Learn and Acquire HAZWOPER certification to safely load specific chemicals.

Be comfortable moving barrels over 500lbs utilizing a barrel dolly, pallets of chemistry, and various other containers of chemistry onto automated plating system for bath makeup process.

Utilize barrel pumps and other tools to load chemistry to process documented makeup specifications.

Ensure 5S standards are upkept within automated plating area.

Be present for chemical drop offs and interface with our partners for chemical handling requirements Uphold 2-person buddy system for chemical loading purposes.

Communicate via teams to all interested parties real time status updates of chemical loading.

Update, uphold and communicate chemical handling Calander.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm The Ideal Candidate will have: Perform plating operator duties once chemical handling responsibilities are fulfilled as required: Prepare machined parts for the electroplating process.

Load prepared parts into the automated plating system.

Load the appropriate recipe programs for each part.

Initiate and monitor the plating process.

Inspect parts for defects once plating is complete utilizing various inspection criteria and tools.

Work with plating technicians and engineers to ensure issues are evaluated and resolved.

Align with other PMTC departments to ensure bath quality and to process parts/jobs through their schedule to ensure absorption metrics are met.

Be prepared to work overtime as business conditions require.

Compensation for overtime worked will be in accordance with Colorado state law and company policy.

Shrey Bhatt Payrate Range in Between - $19 - $21/hour * Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
